I've seen one or two play. And about 30 guys. I mean, it's not like girls don't like video games, but why are most of them so shy about it? I mean, I've offered to drop the change, and play 2P/1 song with them, and keep it on an easy song, and they got scared. Even when I used to suck [2 days ago] and could only do easy songs.
MvsC2, I have not seen a one. Heck, at the GameAddicts forum, we're up to 2 female members there. I've visited my share of girls' rooms, and not-a-one without a PS, or something along those lines. So it's not because "girls don't like video games". It's because they don't wanna be seen playing them, at least w/out their b/f's. <-"Reasonable excuse"... ;)
I hope girls are here reading this too. I'm tired of just us guys hogging the stage. It's time to share with you girlies too. And keep in mind, despite how good I've gotten now, it took 3 TRIES for me to pass the L1 song "I'm Alive". If you fail your first song, join the club. Most of us have, too. :)
Just don't be scared to get up there with us. The second hardest thing you'll ever do on this game is get up there for the first time. The hardest will be trying to stop once you do. BTW, it's quite a workout. But it's the addictive kind that'll have you wanting more. Skip dieting. Start Dance Dancing. |

I thought that this was a Brazilian problem only. It's uncommon to see girls dancing. Only one girl until now has impressed me in DDr. Why me, a guy that didn't ever thought about dancing with people watching (like me) can dance and the girls not?
Any girl here to answer this? |

Maybe here is an exception....
Girls here play more pump (no ddr here :\) than guys, and they even play games like MvsC or Tekken, and racing games too. At 12-13PM around, there are lots of gals either playing/watching/wandering inside the arcade or talking outside. |

version 1.5 euro
- double trick paranoia 180 (hidden)
- paranoia 180 maniac mirror (hidden)
- make it better so real mix maniac (hidden+shuffle)

I already saw a girl doing butterfly maniac hidden at Gameworks rio when I went there. :}
Today I did a routine with my sister in the song "Curiosity" from Pump it up. We switched pods, palmstrikes, backwards, all these crazee stuff :D the gals there just clapped us :D (just because the guys were so quiet)
BTW, the machine is almost full all the time. It's good =) |
