Dancing Stage TKD & DCT (Arcade &PSX)
Posted on 2002-01-18 18:32:13
I have both Dancing Stages for PSX- True Kiss Destination & Dreams Come True. For any of you that don't know, it's basically DDR but the song list is by the artist in the title of the game. I've never heard any of their music besides in this game, but I know that Dreams Come True are a really popular group in Japan. One of the things that I liked about these two games as opposed to the other DDR titles is that you have extra options, such as speeding up the arrows to 3x their normal speed, so it's kinda like playing Max300 without owning 6th mix. My favorite song on DSDCT is Opening Theme-The Monster Song. Please feel free to post more info on either of these games.

Here.. I got bored and made a little FAQ.. this is just for DCT even though I have both games.. its not very in depth, but it should give people a little more insight.

Dancing Stage, Featuring Dreams Come True

A pretty good game.. even though it doesn't really have very many songs.

Mode Select:
Arcade Mode
Event Mode
Greatest Hits Mode (you need other game CDs to play this mode)
Training Mode
Edit Mode

Play modes:
Basic
Trick
Maniac
Step Up(the first song is in basic, the second is trick.. each song gets harder than the last)

Versus
Couple
Hidden
Sudden
Mirror
High speed (x1, x1.5, x2, x2.5, x3)

You can choose one of five arrows to play with, and in edit mode, there are about 5 or 6 more to choose from, ranging from a normal arrow, to a house or a cell phone.

Song List and Difficulty:
Love Love Love
Basic:1 Trick:4 Maniac:5.5

Haretara Iine
B:1.5 T:3 M:5.5

Ureshii Tanoshii Daisuki !
B:1.5 T:5 M:9

Snow Dance
B:2 T:6.5 M:7.5

Kessou wa Kinyo
B:2.5 T:5.5 M:6.5

Go On Baby
B:2.5 T:6.5 M:10

Peace
B:3 T:4.5 M:6.5

Nante Koi shitandaro
B:3.5 T:5 M:6

Asa ga mataguru
B:4 T:6.5 M:6.5

It's so Delicious
B:4 T:7 M:8

Lovetide
B:4.5 T:7.5 M:8.5

Ring Ring Ring
B:5 T:7.5 M:7.5

Opening Theme - The monster is coming -
B:6.5 T:8 M:10

Secrets..etc.

If you beat all the songs once on maniac mode, super maniac mode will be unlocked.(need to auto save)

A few more secrets.. that I haven't gotten to work, so I don't really reccomend them, are:

Press select at the title screen, and the background color will change.

press up up down down left right left right at the title screen, and you'll unlock free mode*wonders if adding B, A, select, start would make ant difference... after all.. it IS a konami game*

Nice job ....one thing though....the Greatest Hits mode is not done with other game CD's, it's done using the actual music CD's from DCT....atleast that's what I heard
