USA - too many to name, but still worthy
Posted on 2002-01-15 05:09:51
I can't play in Rio or any other place overseas, but I can play 10 minutes from my house now. I used to drive to Schaumburg (suburb of Chicago, IL) once a week, every week (hour and a half drive) just to play 3rd mix and USA mix. I live in Loves Park, IL which is in the greater Rockford, IL area (about 400,000 people in the greater Rockford area) and there wasn't a single arcade that had a DDR machine. But now we finally have a machine and it's only 10 minutes away...whoohooo!! The place that has it is called Rev'd Up (http://www.revdupracing.com). I think the prices (of everything) are a little high and they definitely need to offer some kind of play discounts, but I still couldn't be happier - I atleast have a 3rd Mix Korean v2 to play anytime I want and they're talking about getting a 5th Mix very soon. What's funny too is that DDR is so new to this area that me and only a couple of my friends are like gods at this place because hardly anyone has heard of it, much less seen it. It's gonna suck when someday some pro walks in and smokes our butts! We can still be heros till then though
