I"ve played it once before on the Santa Monica pier (I'm from Portland,OR) It was pretty fun even though it's tough. |

I agree with you... Both are great, but I prefer DDR... Excepet for Beethoven Virus, the best song in PIU...

Hey guys, since I've never had a chance to play it (though it looks very fun)...what is it really like compared to DDR?
Why are the bars shaped so weird?
How much harder or easier is it to do two songs of the same difficulty (as close to being the same) on the two different machines?
Does it have Double mode and 3 difficulties like DDR?
Thanks |

| I would have to agree with gui. I know that the A-team from Korea (very well known DDR team) has abandoned DDR to play PIU now, but I still prefer DDR. |

Since I've never played PIU or DS3DDX, I don't know which one I would like to play more (or less). I'm not sure how the button in the middle as opposed to the no button in the middle would be. |

| No kidding huh. Get a PIU simulator for the PC. You'll get the idea. 4 diags and one middle. The thought was there, but their hearts were in the wrong place. Maybe if they fixed the damn music a little... |

| Sounds like I'll probably be stickin to DDR. It's too bad that Konami didn't put in place some of the same features that PIU has before they did, otherwise we may have never had the competition. Like I said, I've never played a PIU yet, but when I think about how natural the flow is when doing a song like Silent Hill on Double SSR...I just can't think of the buttons on PIU having the same natural flow. I'll find out soon enough as long as Rev'd Up gets the machine in when they said they will. |
