Hahaha . . I first hear of DDR on King of the Hill acctually but then I didn't know what it was calling. All I call it was 'The Dancing Game'. -_-;
Anyway my first time playing was at a cheap movie theater where I lost horribly to on simple songs. Oh, well but I couldn't get enough of DDR, so I got myself DWI. I still need pads, I'm good at the keyboard, and am improving on the Arcade. |

Vacation. That's the best way to learn how to play, on arcade machines. You pay for your mistakes; literally. Makes for faster learning. |

The first way i heard of DDR was from this dude at my school named Cory. He would sit there and do the whole Butterfly(UpswingMix) with out the freaking dance pad,of course i had to laugh at 'em.
Well thats how i got interested into DDR.
The way i really learned from it was the fact that the freaking bowling ally had it and it was the only machine that worked so naturaly i had to play it @_@ |

I saw DDRMAX for PS2 at an electronics store six months ago. It looked interesting, so I bought it. Ever since then, I've loved Dance Dance Revolution. |

Heh... to tell the truth, I don't even remember how I got started...
I gots a really bad memory. All I know is, I do remember I made a transition from Basic to Trick in a couple of weeks, then my first song in Heavy mode was .59 and that happened maybe a little less than a year ago. |

Hm.... the first time i heard of DDR....
that would be.... 5 days ago... i know i sound a bit like a freak (but i'm tottally addicted now)....
my friend Hannah had said something about a DDR game at an Anime convention... plus i had seen Anzu playing it on a episode of YuGiOh
So... there i was... on holiday at the beach and they had this arcade... and this group of people were crowded around DDR machine... so i wait in line and try it with my friend...
Well after 2 plays... she gave up...
by 3 plays i had masterd Love Shine on Easy (always going to be my favorite)...
By the end of the night and about 30 dollars later, i was doing light stuff with this other girl i met there...
So now i'm home... already ordered a PS2, a game pad ... and the game... it should be here in a week... and now i can start learning without paying a dollar a play! |

It was a year (or more) ago, I heard about the dwi emulator, but I don't pay much attention.
the time passes and once, when I go to the arcades i saw it: "DDR 5° mix", now I'm playing in PC and PSX with my DDR pad.
I hope that I can become a "Maniac Master" soon |

I saw a similar machine while on vacation in Florida. It wasn't exactly DDR, but I was hooked just the same. So at another arcade in Florida I saw an actual DDR machine and I started using it and now I'm hoocked. |
