Kakeru,
I still can't do any moderating...I hope you can get me setup soon
BTW- here's a message I keep getting when I'm in the forum in the Off Topic area of posts:
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /www/milenium/ddr/homepage/lib/mysql.php on line 43

Are there a couple of flaws in your HTML code? |

those are php flaws.
It's the first priority, once I get enough time to change the site, I'll fix the moderator thing for you. Thx for the patience. |

check it out now, I've tested with a temporary moderator and it worked with no problems. I've tested topic locking, edition and moving.
Lemme know if you find any problems. |

Hey Kakeru, I was looking at the entire list of members and noticed how the site contributors have titles under their names like "Editor" and "Admin", but my name doesn't say "Moderator" under it...is that a bug or an oops Hope it's not too much to ask for my "title" to be put under my name too
Thanks man |

moderators are applied to the forums they're in. If you have noticed, when you enter a board where you are NOT a moderator, you appear as a formal member because of that this title doesn't appear in the profile listing. |

I understand that part, but I still don't understand why my name in the main profile list doesn't say moderator under it like Josh's says Editor and the Admins....am I going crazy? or am I completely off my rocker...it doesn't seem like you and I are on the same page. Do you get what I mean Josh? |

technical explanation:
admin and editor status are applied to USERS, while...
...moderator status are applied to a key containing a USER and a FORUM (kinda hard to understand don't u think? )
it's like, in the USERS database, there's no place saying you're a moderator, because it's on a separate place. If I'm listing users, unless I give a board id as a parameter, I can't say you're a moderator because you can be one as well as you can't be (you're moderator on some boards and aren't on the rest)...
... argh, hard to explain |
