AI Tournament Results
Posted by Kakeru @ 2001-03-26 13:38:41
The biggest tournament held in USA happened last Saturday, and as bemanix.com reported, these are the winners:

Perfect Attack Winner: Jenith

Freestyle Winners
1st: Mel B (let the beat hit em)
2nd: Guyuk (gotcha)
3rd: Chango (furuhata's theme - YOU MUST SEE!)

I'm planning on mirror the freestyle vids for the sake of Govern's site speed. =P The reviews on each video are up.

In no particular order...

Bran and Hiddenrage's Night in Motion
O.o This guy really got so excited (in fact, most of people got excited at this tourney...). Cool routine and crowd reactions, and could be better if doing the whole song in mirror.

KidZero's Stomp to my beat [failed]
I NEVER, NEVER saw a routine like that. It's SOOO smooth, and perfect. It was the BEST 44-second routine I've ever seen. I wonder how he's going now. Dude, don't feel bad, your routine worths more than all the others. I'm sure somebody else thinks the same. Keep doing great!

Bui Brothers' Dynamite Rave
Just wondering.... they do the same routine all the time? Anyway, some parts were cool.

Chango's Furuhata's Theme (3rd place)
GODDAMNIT I'M SPEECHLESS ABOUT HIS VID. IT'S DOPE.

ChibiSparkle's Oh Nick please not so quick
Aw how cute but... what was she holding? =P

Clark Kent's let the beat hit' em
Cool routine, very smooth, good body and arm movement. Very nice.

Digital's Only yoooou!
LOL what a happy performance! - "SIT DOWN OLD MAN!" - "GET YO ASS ON THE CHAIR!" (Govern)

Dinkot's era nostalmix
Excellent!! And original, I guess. =P

Godden's Captain Jack
It's an example on how a good crowd support can help the whole thing. =)

Miss Goggles & Hi-chan's Boom Boom Dollar [Para Para]
I don't know if I write something here or LMAO about it :D

Guyuk's Gotcha (2nd Place)
He did great!! Good synchronism and body movement!

Jenith's Boom Boom Dollar
Nice, but IMO, the routine didn't match with the song.

Kokopuff's After the game of love
Was that a matrix walk? Whatever, it was good, but he didn't do it on mirror.

MelB's let the beat hit 'em (1st place)
A very very cool routine!! Synchronized and smoothing.

Tolui's Orion.78
Nice! The costume, the routine and the song as one. =P

PMaster-G and Chronos's Afronova
O____O at the whole song. There was even a support guy holding instructions(?) for the crowd! LOL! CAUTION: Do NOT watch this vid if you have a pure heart. ^_^

RnBFan's HERO Happy Grandale Mix
Very "strong" routine! Unfortunately, not done with mirror.

Sl1p's let the beat hit 'em
Cool sliding, and funny moves. =P

Strider's Shake your booty
@_@........................ LMAO @ the money guy!
The crowd got really so excited..........

Supply's Make a jam
Cool moves, but dancing with a mask took out all the fun of it.

Thomas' Put your faith in me
Nice movement, but the song didn't help...

Trunks' Petit Love
Personally, I love that song. And this guy did make it more fun :D

That's it. You notice how much I said "mirror" in here. Just because if you're doing performance, I guess you dance for the crowd, not for the machine (I think someone already said that...).

If you already have the vids, I would be glad if you post your comments here. =)
